6 Things I Learned In Europe

Hey guys,

I am back from my trip to Europe! I visited Berlin and Paris, and it was amazing! I did miss blogging a lot though, but I had the time to think of many new blog post ideas so stay tuned. One of the post ideas I thought was very clever was a "Things I Learned in Europe", which is what I'm writing today.

I'm sorry I'm not putting many photos up today, it's because I came back yesterday at night and I haven't even had the time to import any photos, they will come soon though! I also did film a lot of stuff so I will be editing a video and putting it up on my channel (Eliberar).

3 Things I Learned In Berlin

1) Bikes Are A Thing

This was probably the first time that I've ever been more scared to get run over by a bike than a car. They are everywhere! I say kids, adults, and elders riding them and I saw them for sale/rent all the time. I guess it is the easiest and cheapest way of transportation around Berlin. It also really got me excited to get riding my bike again!

2) When Going To Berlin, Pack For All Types Of Weather

Ok this is a big one! It's supposed to be summer in Germany, why the heck is it like 17 degrees celsius? On the first day it was unbelievably got, the second day was chilly but not too bad, and the last two days where freezing! The biggest problem wasn't even the temperature but definitely the wind. Always pack for cold weather when going to Berlin, trust me.

3) WW2

I believe that unlike some countries, Germany doesn't try to hide their evolvement in WW2, and try ot honor the people who died as much as possible. i went to one museum and one cemetery dedicated to the holocaust and they both went into WW2 with such detail.

3 Things I Learned In Paris

1) Bakeries

Wow. Literally every two or three buildings there is a bakery, and they all have amazing food! It's insane, I legit believe I gained like 10 pounds. Everything you eat is so delicious!

2) Gift Shops

Now if there isn't a bakery every two or three buildings, there is definitely a gift shop. They're everywhere! And the price range is insanely different. I suggest going to Montmartre for the best prices and it's so fricking gorgeous.

3) Metro

In Berlin it's bikes and in Paris it's the metro. There are like 15 lines and they go everywhere! We travelled everywhere by metro and it was definitely the best choice. Some stations are very big and crowded, so you might have to walk a lot. When we went to Montmarte we stopped on the station Château Rouge, and it took 136 steps just to get out of the station. Some trains are also very full, but noting too bad.

Overall I feel so grateful to have had the privilege to visit these two wonderful cities and I most definitely recommend them both!
